
Our primary German impression is that of the Wehrmacht 2nd Panzer Division and its Aufklärungs-Abteilung (armoured reconnaissance battalion) mid to late war period 1943-1945. Our secondary impression covers German Officers and staff Vehicles from WW2 utilising our own vehicles.


Our impression of the 2nd Panzer Division puts us right at the heart of the action from WW2, from The Battle of Kursk 1943, the Battle of Normandy, Summer 1944, the Battle of the Bulge, Winter 1944 and the Battle of the Rhine, Spring 1945.

An Aufklärungsabteilung "reconnaissance detachment" was a reconnaissance unit attached to the German 2nd Panzer Division during the Second World War.
They were equipped with motorcycle combinations, Volkswagen Kübelwagens, and Sd.Kfz. 221/222/223 light armored cars.
Units in the mobile divisions were also equipped with six- and eight-wheeled heavy armored cars such as the Sd.Kfz. 231/233. Later in the war they were issued with Volkswagen Schwimmwagens and motorcycles from various companies.

The 2nd Panzer Division was originally formed on October 15th, 1935. The division was part of the Heer/Wehrmacht regular army and not associated with the SS 2nd Panzer Division, which was a totally separate division. During the early stages of WW2 the division took part in the
